My Best Rice Hack To Date!
I make a big batch of rice nearly every week, whether it’s herb rice, yellow rice, Spanish rice, brown rice, or just a lot of white rice. It’s one of those staples It is satisfying to having ready in the fridge for quick bowls, straightforward sides, and last-minute meals. I can add whatever protein and veggies we have on hand, drizzle on a good sauce, and dinner is basically done.
I’ve also been on a major protein kick lately and am always looking for simple ways to add more protein and nutrients to our meals. Cooking rice in bone broth instead of only water might be one of my easiest hacks yet. It takes no extra prep and doesn’t change the way I make the rice, but it adds protein, more flavor, and a little more to offer nutritionally.
It’s such a simple swap, but those small upgrades really add up, especially with something I’m already making nearly every week. Once the rice is cooked, I can use it exactly the same way I normally would. It’s an straightforward way to make bowls, sides, meal prep, and busy weeknight dinners just a little more filling!

Quick Tip
Bone broth and stock are alike, both made by simmering meaty bones and veggies. Bone broth cooks longer to pull out more nutrients and marrow, with the bones roasted first for a stronger, richer flavor./quicktip]How To Make Bone Broth Rice
