The Real Secret to a Great Salad: The Dressing!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I take my salads very seriously. No sad, wilted lettuce and definitely no sadder store-bought dressings. I’m all about flavor-packed from-scratch dressings. And honestly, once you start making your own, it’s really hard to go back. They’re quick, straightforward, and the flavor is on a completely different level. Everything just tastes so much better!
Whenever I start testing a new dressing, I make a ton of versions and keep tweaking the amounts until it’s just right. Then comes the taste test. I usually make my sisters come over and try them all with me haha.
I’m a little obsessed with good salad dressings, and this one is easily one of my favorites. It’s creamy, tangy, a little sweet, and seriously so good.

| Balsamic vinegar | Choose a good-quality balsamic for the best flavor. |
| Maple syrup & Dijon mustard | Maple syrup adds a little sweetness while Dijon brings a nice tang that balances the dressing. Use real maple syrup, not pancake syrup. |
