A few quick notes on these straightforward Valentine’s Gifts:
- Each bag has it’s own printable page so you won’t have to print more than what you’ll be gifting.
- Print the bag toppers on glossy cardstock paper. (Email the PDF’s to Staples/Office Max and print there for best quality.)
- To make cutting and folding the printable straightforward use a good Paper Cutter and a Scoring Board.
- I found that Zip-loc has the nicest looking snack-size bag, but any snack size bags will work.
- Do not print straight from the website file; make sure to first SAVE it to your computer and then print. If you’re still having issues, try a different browser or feel free to drop me an email!

FOUR 3-ingredient Valentine’s Day Treats
Surprise Red Velvet Heart Inside Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 bag (12 ounces) white chocolate chips
- 1/2 tablespoon shortening
- 5 cups popped popcorn ((no butter added; just air popped))
- 1 cup pretzel sticks
- 1 and 1/2 cups Valentine’s Day M&M’s
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons Valentine's Day sprinkles
Method
- Place the white chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in bursts of 20 seconds stirring in between each burst for 15 seconds until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Be patient to avoid burning the chocolate.
- Place the popped popcorn on a PARCHMENT lined sheet pan and toss with the pretzel rods and Valentine's Day M&Ms. Pour the melted chocolate over it. Use a spoon to toss the popcorn gently until it is evenly coated with the chocolate. Spread the popcorn out evenly and then evenly sprinkle with the salt and valentine's day sprinkles.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened. Break up into small pieces then place in the snack sized bags.
