Why I’m Grilling Every Peach I Buy!

After I made these grilled pineapple sundaes for the family quite a few times, I thought it would be fun to switch things up and try peaches instead. And honestly? Everyone became just as obsessed with this version.

In my opinion, there are very few things better than ripe summer peaches that have been grilled. The heat caramelizes the natural sugars, adds a little smoky flavor, and somehow makes peaches taste even more peachy. Add a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a buttery graham cracker crumble on top and it turns into one of those desserts that disappears fast.

These Grilled Peaches are also one of a reliable kinds of desserts because they come together so quickly. No mixers, no complicated prep, and no baking an entire dessert in a hot kitchen during the middle of summer.

How You can Serve These Peaches:

My fave way to enjoy this grilled peaches recipe is with vanilla bean ice cream and a graham cracker crumble on top. Some other variations are:

  • Sweet Sauce: Drizzle caramel, chocolate, or vanilla sauce on peaches and ice cream.
  • Cheese Filling: Blend 6 oz soft goat cheese, 2 tbsp milk, and 1 tbsp honey, spoon into peaches.
  • Sweet and Savory: Rub peaches with brown sugar, top with ricotta, honey, and crispy prosciutto.

Toppings: Add shredded coconut, chocolate chips, granola, or berries.

Storage

This grilled peach recipe is best fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Keep the peaches, ice cream, and crumble separate so everything stays at its best.
