  • Vegetable oil: Adds moisture and ensures a tender texture.

CREAM LAYER

  • Sweetened condensed milk: Offers sweetness and creaminess to the layer.

How To Make A Waffle Cake

  • Waffles: Prepare cake batter as directed. Cook in a preheated waffle iron. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Cream Filling: Whisk pudding mix, milk, and sweetened condensed milk. Whip cream in a separate bowl, then fold into pudding mixture. Chill.
  • Assemble: On a cake stand, layer waffles and filling, ending with a waffle topped with the remaining filling.

Quick Tip

Let the waffles cool completely before assembling the cake. If the waffles are at all warm, they will heat the cream filling and make the cake slide (plus the texture/taste will be off).
