Sliders You’ll Dream About Tonight!
My French Dip Sliders have been one of the most popular recipes on my site, always the first to disappear at parties and game days. Since readers (and my family) love them so much, I created these Italian Beef Sliders as a fun twist.
Instead of au jus, they’re loaded with Italian-inspired flavors like tangy peperoncini, melty provolone, and garlic-herb butter on soft Hawaiian rolls. They’ve got the same cheesy, beefy comfort as the French Dips but with an irresistible Italian spin.

Italian Beef Sliders Ingredients:
- Hawaiian/Soft Rolls: Check for the softest possible package.
- Provolone Cheese: Mild and melts really well.
- Deli Roast Beef: Choose rare to ensure it remains juicy after baking baked.
- Peperoncini: Tangy with some heat; replace with banana peppers for less heat.
- Parmesan Cheese: skippable for a salty crust.
Butter Mixture
- Unsalted Butter: Leave out added salt if using salted butter.
- Dried Minced Onion: Subtle sweetness.
- Garlic Powder: Consistent nice flavor.
- Dijon Mustard: Depth of flavor and helps to thicken mixture.
- Dried Herbs: To create the Italian flavor profile.

How To Make Italian Beef Sliders
- Heat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.
- Butter mixture: Melt butter and mix in Dijon, onion, garlic powder, and dried herbs.
- Rolls: Slice rolls in half and brush cut sides with butter mixture.
- Layer: Bottom rolls → Provolone → roast beef → peperoncini → more Provolone.
- Top & Brush: Place roll tops back on, brush with butter mixture..
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake. Uncover, bake until the edges turn golden and melty. Slice and enjoy.

What To Serve With Italian Beef Sliders
- Roasted Sweet Potatoes: Complements flavors nicely.
- Caesar Salad: Keeps it light and crunchy.
- Coleslaw: Nice, tangy crunch.
- Italian Pasta Salad: Fun complementary side.
- Pickles: Always great with sliders!
- Fresh Fruit: Or try our fave fruit salad.

- Reheat: Thaw if frozen, then warm at 350°F until hot (10-15 mins).
