The Popcorn Bar That Was A Hit At My Sisters Wedding!
For my sister’s wedding, I helped put together a popcorn bar, cookie bar, and hot chocolate bar, and honestly, it was the most fun wedding food! Everyone had the best time filling their cups with popcorn and loading them up with all the different toppings.
People kept coming back to try new combinations, and it ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night. It was straightforward, interactive, and something everyone could make exactly how they wanted. If you’re planning a wedding, shower, or party, I truly can’t recommend a popcorn bar enough! It was so simple to put together, but everyone was obsessed with it.

Method
- If you’re air-popping your own popcorn, do this first. Ensure it’s freshly popped and ready before guests arrive. Add popcorn to bowls, separating by flavor.
- Separate toppings by type: savory, sweet, and healthy. Use clear bowls or jars to display them so guests can see all their options easily.
- Place the popcorn in the largest bowl(s) in the center. Surround the popcorn with bowls of toppings, grouping them by type. Place the cups or cones at the start so guests can grab one, fill it with popcorn, and then move through the toppings.
- Label each ingredient, especially potential allergens like nuts. You can use small chalkboard signs, printed tags, or sticky notes.
- Encourage guests to mix and match, creating their unique popcorn blends!
