I’m a big fan of sliders, seriously, I have a ton of recipes on my site, but these cheeseburger sliders might just be my new favorite. Combining one of my all-time favorite foods (burgers, duh) with one of my go-to appetizers (sliders) was a no-brainer, and they did not disappoint.
It’s like getting all the burger flavor but in slider form, quick and straightforward. After bringing them to a get-together, I had so many people asking me to bring them again or to get the recipe ASAP, so here I am, finally sharing the long-awaited cheeseburger slider recipe. I hope you enjoy it!

Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe Ingredients
| Ingredient | Swaps or Tips |
|---|---|
| Hawaiian rolls | Any soft dinner roll works, but Hawaiian adds the best flavor. |
| Lean ground beef (93/7) | Use 85/15 for a juicier slider or swap with ground turkey. |
| Beef seasonings | Add smoked paprika or Worcestershire for deeper flavor. |
| Cheese | Choose pre-sliced or freshly grated for the best melt. I suggest sharp cheese for more flavor. |
| Garlic herb or plain butter | Plain melted butter works great; add dried parsley for color. |
| Sesame seeds | The seeds give them that classic cheeseburger feel. |

The Sauce That Ties It All Together
- Mayonnaise: Use high-quality mayo. It makes a difference!
- Yellow mustard: Stick to classic yellow, avoiding Dijon or grainy varieties.
- Pickle relish: Relish adds sweetness and texture to this cheeseburger sliders recipe.
- Sauce seasonings: These are the same as the beef seasonings, but we include paprika.

How To Make Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe
- Prep: Heat the oven. Slice the rolls in half.
- Beef: Brown the beef with seasonings; drain and let it cool slightly.
- Sauce: Mix the sauce ingredients; incorporate some into the beef.
- Assemble: Spread sauce on both halves of rolls; layer with cheese, beef, and cheese.
- Bake: Bake the bottom half. Then add the top half, brush with butter, and bake again.

For The Ultimate Spread, Serve Sliders With:
- Crispy fries/tater tots/roasted sweet potatoes: These make a classic, crunchy side.
- Coleslaw: Fresh, tangy, and even satisfying stuffed inside a slider.
- Pickle spears: You could alternatively add slices of pickles to individual sliders.
- Garden salad or fruit salad: It’s a great light side.
- Potato Salad: Creamy and tangy potato salad is a crowd favorite.

Storage
Though this Cheeseburger Sliders recipe is best enjoyed fresh, the leftovers are still quite tasty!
- Refrigerate: Cool and then place in an airtight bag; store in the fridge for 3-5 days.
- Reheat: Warm in the oven or air fryer until heated through. (Avoid microwave)
